– CATHOLIC Universities Week Friday, March 12 th is the start of Catholic Schools Week. This community helps guide its people in their devotion to the Faith. By celebrating different facets of Our Lady of Sorrows School, we continue to strengthen the bonds that are the foundation of this Catholic community. The school will be having a variety of activities. Please have your child bring $5.00 to participate in these activities. The donations will be divided up between a variety of charities.
- March 13 th (Tuesday) – Red-colored The color Day & Pizza Meal
- College students will come dressed in Red.
- A university families try generously giving a pizza lunch with this time, as a thank you so much to all all of our great pupils and for every they are doing meant for one another! Most of the students gets 2 free bits of pizza with this big date. Excite pack any additional dishes or products as needed. Please note there is a mistake to your schedule and you may the brand new pizza supper try tomorrow, March 13 th .
– Ash wednesday – Degrees step three Bulk – Zero Pizza pie Lunch This very day Ash Wednesday Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 14 th at 9:00 a.m. Parents and grandparents are welcome to join us. Students have to be in full uniform (sweaters and black shoes).
Please note that there was an error on the calendar and the pizza lunch is on Friday, March thirteen th and NOT Wednesday, March 14 th .
– Lent Packets Lent boxes will be sent home on Wednesday, February fourteen th (Ash Wednesday) (Grades 1-7). All boxes will be collected after Easter Monday, Monday, April dos nd . We also ask that you print the amount collected on the box. Please use this opportunity to encourage your child to give alms (to do charitable work).
– CATHOLIC EDUCATORS’ Conference – Zero College or university All teachers will be attending the Catholic Educators’ Conference on Thursday, February fifteen th and Tuesday, March sixteen th . The school will be closed for these two days.

2024 College Donation Income tax Receipts The 2023 school donation tax receipts were sent home on Monday with your oldest child. If you have not received this, please check your child’s backpack. School tax receipts are claimed as a charitable donation, it is NOT a tuition expense.
Saturday, March 16 th at step 3 p.m. Once the ordering is closed, we cannot accept any other orders. Payments can be made by cheque or cash (dropped off at the office in an envelope with your child’s name and grade on it) or by credit card online. Please note, the school is charged transaction fees for credit card payments so if you’d prefer to pay by cheque or cash, it would be greatly appreciated. If paying for your order online, your payment must be made by February sixteen th from the 3 p.m. If you do not submit your payment by this date and time, your order may be cancelled. If you are paying by cash or cheque, your payment must dropped off at the school office by February 21 st during the step 3 p.meters.
